Vice-Chancellor briefing session, 9 September 2020Friday, 04 September 2020
Vice-Chancellor Professor Robert Van de Noort will hold a briefing session for all colleagues on Wednesday 9 September, 13:00-14:00.
Thank you to all who have registered so far. Due to a technical issue, some registrations have come through without email addresses or names - if you registered between 09:00 and 09:40 on 2 September and you haven't already received an invite, please complete the registration form again or contact email@example.com. Around 50 registrations have been affected, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
What will be discussed?
In this briefing, the Vice-Chancellor will be joined by chairs of the Major Recovery Team, Professors Parveen Yaqoob and Julian Park. With the start of the new academic year fast approaching, colleagues will no doubt have questions about how campus will look and feel after so many months away. Parveen and Julian will provide an update on our phased return, including the huge amount of work being done to ensure we can provide a vibrant campus environment for colleagues and students, while protecting the health and wellbeing of our whole University community.
Our newly appointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International, Paul Inman, will also take the opportunity to introduce himself to colleagues and share his early thoughts on global engagement priorities.
How to register
The session will be conducted over Microsoft Teams. Please use this form to register your interest.
A calendar invite will be sent out once you have registered (this is a manual process, so please be patient while we process registrations).
If you have any queries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if I can't attend?
For those who cannot attend, a video and summary of the briefing session will be shared on the staff portal in the days following the briefing.
