Chemists talk of remarkable things

Postgraduate students from the Department of Chemistry took part in the 9th Chemistry Research Day recently.

This is an annual, day-long symposium featuring oral and poster presentations by final and second year PhD students, with prizes awarded by a panel of external judges.

The Department of Chemistry encourages students to present their work at conferences and on the Research Day as a valuable part of preparing for their final viva examination at the end of their course.
