The Raymond Wilson Poetry Competition

We are finally able to bring you the results of the Annual Raymond Wilson Competition.
The competition, to write a poem for children was won by Nicole Willis, a second year student in the Institute of Education. Her winning poem:
Kit Miaowler
Midnight prowler
Slit-eyed scowler
Dog house yowler:
Kit Miaowler.
Standing prouder
Hissing louder
Sharp claws outer:
Kit Miaowler.
Padded pawwer
Moon light trawler
Scratch the doorer
Night time crawler.
Secret fighter
Vocals tighter
Getting lighter
Just by nighter.

The judges would like to thank everyone who entered this year. Next year's competition will be advertised at the start of the summer term.
