'The Annual Fund has raised more than £2 million over just four years to enhance the student experience here at Reading - a remarkable achievement' Becki Mckinlay, Annual Giving Manager

The Development and Alumni Relations Office are welcoming applications for up to £10,000 to the Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund was established in 2004 to raise funds that will support current students at the University. To date it has received pledges totalling over £2 million to enhance the student experience. Funds have been raised through donations from alumni, staff and friends of the University.

The aim of the Annual Fund is to make an immediate impact on the life of the University, by funding projects that will benefit current and future generations of students and help make Reading an even better place to live and study. The Fund is designed to support the key areas of the student experience: Student Support, Innovative Teaching and Learning, Extra-Curricular Activities.

The Fund is open to all areas of the University, both academic and administrative, for projects that cannot be funded in any other way or through existing funding channels. The Fund does not exist to subsidise any area and must add value to the student experience.

This year, the application process is online, so for further information about the Fund and to complete an application form, please visit:http://www.reading.ac.uk/alumni/support/annualfund/Disbursement/Disbursement.aspx
