Trek China and save a tiny life

Each year around 50,000 babies are born too early. Every week more than 25 babies die from complications arising from premature birth. The Trek for Tiny Lives team are calling on people around the UK to join them in China
On 6 - 14 November 2010, a group of adventure seekers will fly off to China to trek the Great Wall; in aid of the thousands of premature babies that are saved each year by research undertook by registered charity Action Medical Research.
The fantastic event has been designed to challenge a group of budding explorers do something that will change the lives of thousands of families in the UK. The Trek for Tiny Lives is a 5 day hike along the Great Wall that has been voted one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
Trekkers also get to experience the hustle and bustle of Beijing and place a brick in the Badaling Old Wall section of the wall.

To take part in this challenge, participants will need to pay a registration fee of £249, and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2,750 for Action Medical Research. All travel, accommodation, refreshments, guides and medical support are included. Full fitness training to prepare for the challenge and will be provided through professional event organisers, Global Adventure Challenges. Action Medical Research will also provide fundraising support for all participants.
