New Reader in Law

Dr Aleardo Zanghellini

The School of Law is pleased to welcome Dr Aleardo Zanghellini to Reading as a new Reader in Law, from September 2010.

He joins us from his previous post as a Senior Lecturer at the Macquarie Law School, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.

Dr Zanghellini's research interests are in sociolegal and cultural studies, as well as legal, political and moral philosophy, with a thematic focus on sexual orientation, gender and sexuality.

His most recent scholarship interrogates non-Western views of sexuality and gender; attempting to identify how these might be a problem for sexual and gender relations, with a view to re-imagining the social, legal and discursive constitution of those relations in the West.
