Andy Goodwyn and Joe Harris

Last Wednesday 31 March 2010, the Institute of Education said goodbye to Joe Harris who was one of the Porters at Bulmershe.  He had been working at the University for 14 years, and will be returning to his homeland of Wales after a short holiday with his family in the Mediterranean.

Colleagues gathered to wish him well in his retirement and he was presented with a card and money, with which he is going to buy fishing equipment.

The Institute staff and students will miss his cheery smile and helpfulness.
