Retirement of Professor Patricia Leopold
Monday, 12 July 2010
The School of Law recently held a reception to mark the retirement of Professor Patricia Leopold. Past and present colleagues, members of the School of Law, alumni and friends gathered at Foxhill House to wish her well.
Professor Chris Hilson paid tribute to Professor Leopold for all that she has achieved during her time within the School. She was one of only two female members of staff when she started in 1974.
After stepping down as Head of School, Patricia has devoted the last year to raising funds for the School's thriving Pro Bono projects and helping current students to secure work placements with members of our Alumni.
Patricia was presented with a water colour print of Whiteknights lake painted by Alfred Waterhouse, the architect who built Foxhill House, along with flowers and book tokens.
