Join this summer's campus tidy up
Sunday, 18 July 2010
Due to the storms yesterday, heavy rain overnight and a poor forecast for today, this afternoon's litter pick has been postponed. The EEST team will email details of the new date in due course.
Following the success of April's Big Tidy Up event, the Environment, Energy and Sustainability Team are holding a second campus litter pick this Friday 23 July 2010.
Eager volunteers collected 23 bags of rubbish from the lake and the surrounding area in April, and the aim this time is to repeat this previous triumph at other locations around Whiteknights Campus.
All staff and students are invited to join the litter pick this Friday, which is taking place between 12pm and 3pm, meeting initially at the Palmer building.
Whether you can spare an hour or if you're available for the whole session, the Team look forward to seeing you for a dedicated afternoon of tidying up the campus.
