Vice-Chancellor's talks to staff

Every member of staff has the opportunity to shape the content of the next Vice-Chancellor's talk to staff
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gordon Marshall will be setting the scene for the year ahead with four talks to staff this week (13-15 October), with the first on Wednesday 13 October.
Professor Marshall will address:
- The challenging context for Higher Education and the threat of cuts in public funding
- Building a strong and confident future for our University
- Our recent achievements
- The changing face of our estate
There will be opportunity for staff to ask direct questions at one of the sessions. The Vice-Chancellor will be joined by Professor Tony Downes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, for all four sessions.
The talks will take place on the Whiteknights, Bulmershe and Greenlands campuses on the following dates:-
- 12.00-13.00 on Wednesday, 13 October - McCulloch Lecture Theatre (BG25), Bulmershe Court
- 11.00-12.00 on Thursday, 14 October - National Grid Lecture Theatre, Greenlands
- 11.00-12.00 on Friday, 15 October - Palmer G10, Whiteknights
- 15.00-16.00 on Friday, 15 October - Madejski Lecture Theatre, Earley Gate, Whiteknights

The Vice-Chancellor's talks to staff will take place again in the first few weeks of the Spring Term 2011.
