Dear Colleagues,

It was lovely to see so many colleagues, both past and present, at my retirement reception last week.  So many of you want to keep in touch that I think I'm going to have to buy a larger diary!

Thank you so much for the very generous cheque.  I am going to buy a painting which will be a constant reminder of my years at the University.  I know what I want and will now have the time to explore galleries, both local and further afield, until I find it!

I have been incredibly lucky in working with such friendly and helpful colleagues throughout my career, firstly in Pure and Applied Zoology, then Animal and Microbial Sciences, and finally as PA to two Vice-Chancellors.

My thanks to you all for your help and assistance over the years, I couldn't have managed with out it.

With my very best wishes,

June Hattrick
