Research Officer publishes two debut novels

Dr Colin Litten-Brown, Research Officer in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development has recently published his first two fictional novels. ‘This has been the culmination of a life's ambition to become a published author and there are more books on the way,' said Colin.
The Gates of Atopia is a science-fiction thriller set in the backdrop of present-day England is the first in the Atopia trilogy.
Williams' Wonder Wax is a science-fiction thriller set in the strange world of household product development drawing from years of Colin's personal experience inventing floor polishes, carpet shampoos and air fresheners in an earlier career.
Just some of Colin's diverse interests are cosmology, astronomy and the mysteries of the universe. ‘I was brought up watching Carl Sagan and other influential figures of the time. It is also true that I have more than a passing love of conspiracy theories and end-of-the-world scenarios. These diverse interests always figure highly in my writing.'
