Water-colours
The rain draws the sky
Down to the earth.
It closes the space
In the children's painting.
The teacher painted the sky
Touching the earth,
But the child knows
And leaves a space for running.
The sky is a brush full of black paint
And the ground, tentacles of fingers.
The children draw the rain
Like streamers of quick-silver.
The rain covers me
In the space full of painting.
Three children run towards me
Through the paint-water evening.
