Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gordon Marshall
For those who were unable to attend the Vice-Chancellor's talks this term, a short audio interview with Professor Marshall is available online, which includes the broad areas that were covered.
The Vice-Chancellor talks about the challenges facing the HE sector and offers a vision of where the University will be in 10 years' time. He describes three main drivers for change for a research-intensive University of Reading:-
- Increasing focus on the student experience as a result of the changes to student fees
- The impact of the concentration of research funding
- The University's internationalisation strategy
