Have your say on the University's green initiatives

Earth Hour

Please take the opportunity to have your say by filling in the Environmental Survey

This week is National Climate Week, which provides an excellent opportunity for us all to renew our ambition to combat climate change.

To support climate week, the University's Environment, Energy and Sustainability Team has launched its Environmental Survey to help understand your opinion on environmental initiatives across campus.

Please use the link below and take the opportunity to have your say. The survey will take no more that a few minutes of your time and will help the University fulfil its commitment to reducing climate change. Your views are very important if we are going to make a difference.

Climate Week includes WWF's Earth Hour on Saturday 26 March. Earth Hour aims to unite efforts across the globe and encourage as many people as possible to turn off their lights between 8.30pm and 9.30pm this Saturday.

Last year over 4,000 cities and towns in 126 countries took part in World Wide Fund for Nature's Earth Hour. Global landmarks that switched off included Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, the Eiffel Tower, the Great Pyramids, Rome's Coliseum and the Forbidden City in China.

Closer to home, we can all contribute to Earth Hour. As the Spring Term ends, and many staff and students prepare to take a short break away from halls and campuses, please remember - turn off lights, computers and anything that doesn't need to be on when you leave your halls or office.
