The University's accommodation partner, UPP, is putting forward proposals for development on the site of Bridges Hall of residence. The redevelopment of the Bridges Hall site forms part of the University's Whiteknights Campus Development Plan and will complete the current Whiteknights accommodation project. UPP's proposal will create a new hall with integrated self-catering facilities and a separate catering hub.

Following a public exhibition on 18 and 19 April, staff and students are invited to view the proposal exhibition boards on the ground floor of the Carrington Building, from Tuesday 26 April - Tuesday 10 May. 

If you are unable to attend the exhibition the boards are available to view online: http://www.reading.ac.uk/about/about-local.aspx.

UPP welcome feedback on the proposals as part of their work in shaping the planning of the development. The closing date for comments is 5pm, Tuesday 10 May 2011 - this can be provided at the exhibition or online (see above link).
