Language, text and power - Researchers' Night at Reading
Wednesday, 20 July 2011
The University is one of four UK venues for Researchers' Night
Researchers' Night is a Europe-wide event bringing together the public and researchers once a year on the fourth Friday of September to celebrate research and show how it impacts on people's lives. Events will take place simultaneously in 500 different venues in over 30 countries.
The University of Reading is one of four institutions in the UK who will be opening its doors on Friday 23 September and inviting everyone to find out about our research theme of 'Language, text and power' - one of our multi-disciplinary research strengths in arts and humanities.
We are organising many free events and activities around this theme for children of all ages and adults. You are welcome to attend a variety of exhibitions, talks and workshops during the course of the afternoon and evening of 23 September.
For a full list of events and booking instructions please visit the Researchers' Night website:http://www.reading.ac.uk/researchers-night/
Due to limited seating we do ask that you book to attend the talks, discussions, demonstrations and workshops by using our online booking form. If you would like to view an exhibition you do not need to book
