Lecturers retire after 75 collective years of service
Lecturers Dr Mike Lewis, Dr Bernard Mackey and Mr Andrew Wilbey retired from the Department of Food & Nutrition Sciences recently after 35, 28 and 12 years service respectively.
A retirement party was held on Friday 7 October to thank them for their hard work and commitment to teaching and research, as well as collaboration with industry and other universities worldwide.
The party was well-attended by School staff, ex staff members and many others from other departments on campus.
Guests were treated to many stories of experiences Bernard, Andrew and Mike have shared together over the years and wished them all well in their well-deserved retirement.
