'This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our campus and to encourage young people to aspire to moving on to Higher Education.'
The University of Reading is once again hosting the Thames Valley UCAS Higher Education Conference at the Whiteknights campus on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 March.
The Conference is organised by Connexions Thames Valley in association with UCAS, the University of Reading, the University of West London and the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association.
Professor Gavin Brooks, Chair of the Steering Group for the Conference, said: "I am delighted that the University is hosting this event which attracts 7,500 prospective students from secondary schools across the region and includes exhibits from 120 Higher Education institutions and professional organisations.
"Visitors will be able to benefit from a wide range of subject specific talks, many of which are delivered by colleagues from the University, as well as talks on student finance and the UCAS application process.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our campus and to encourage young people to aspire to moving on to Higher Education. It is a major student recruitment event in the UCAS calendar and I would like to thank colleagues for their support in making this Conference successful and enjoyable for all those involved."
