Working Together: A Strategy for Success
Thursday, 29 March 2012
The University's new HR Strategy mentioned by the Vice-Chancellor in his email to staff on 19 March, has been launched today. ‘Working Together: A Strategy for Success' is a new and positive agenda for working at the University of Reading.
The HR Strategy is at the heart of the emerging University Strategy which will be completed later this year, and recognises the crucial contribution that our staff make to the achievement of the University's aims.
Vice-Chancellor, Sir David Bell said: "These are demanding times for the University and we want to enable everyone to make the best contribution they can as it is only by doing this that we will improve our standing as a leading research-intensive university and become an excellent place for both staff and students to work."
The strategy has been refined and informed by the results of the recent Staff Survey. You can find more details by clicking the links below to the HR website where you will find the vision statement and strategy summary, along with a roadmap that outlines the body of work that will be undertaken in 2012-13 to build on our successes and bring about improvements. Much of the work will be taken forward under the banner of a project called Promoting Excellence.
