Well done Admissions team!

A-level results week is always the busiest time of year for the University Admissions team. This year posed even more challenges as the application process was made extra complicated for students. This was also the first year that the University has centralised its admissions process.
To thank Admissions staff for doing such an outstanding job, the Vice-Chancellor, Sir David Bell and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning), Professor Gavin Brooks popped into the Admissions Office to express their gratitude personally, and almost as importantly, they were bearing cakes and doughnuts!
Professor Brooks said; "This has been a stressful but enjoyable experience. This is the first time we have operated as a centralised service and Admissions have interacted extremely well with the Schools."
Sir David Bell added; "This is a very small token of my thanks. This is the first time I have been through this process and it has been very busy. Your incredible hard work has got us where we are today. The quality of your work and the service you have given is phenomenal."
