Security and Safety Awareness Week
Wednesday, 10 October 2012
As part of Security and Safety Awareness Week (15-19 October), staff and students can find out how safety aware they really are, as well as get a free bike health check with Dr Bike, improve cycling skills and meet local police.
Members of the Security team will be in the Palmer building selling bike locks, panic alarms and high-vis jackets, and putting people's safety awareness to the test with a fun computer-based assessment.
The team is also providing a bike marking service for staff and students: get your bike marked with a secure label to deter thieves and log its details with security to give it its very own passport.
