Proposed improvements for cyclists and pedestrians

Your opportunity to see an exhibition on proposed improvements to walking and cycling schemes in the area around the University's Whiteknights and London Road campuses and make your comments.

Reading Borough Council have recently conducted a transport study for the area around the University in consultation with local residents. One of the major perceived problems highlighted by the study is the lack of provision for cyclists and pedestrians.

Working with local stakeholders including the University and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, the Council have produced a set of new proposed cycle routes and pedestrian crossings.

All staff and students are invited to attend an exhibition showing the details and to comment on them. Please take time to visit the exhibition to see the proposals:
