University chooses its winners for best research outputs 2013

Congratulations to our Research Endowment Trust Fund prize winners
Every year, the University's Research Endowment Trust Fund awards prizes for the best research outputs and to recognise outstanding research.
The prizes are awarded to acknowledge the continuing importance of high quality research to the University. Competitions are run at faculty level, with nominees generated via competitions within schools and departments.
This year, each faculty winner received £1,000, and runners up received £250 paid directly into their Staff Development Account.
Congratulations to the following researchers who were awarded their prizes at the meeting of the University Court:
Arts, Humanities and Social Science
Winner: Dr Alison Bisset (Law)
Runners up: Dr Antara Datta (History), Dr Natalie Pollard (English Literature)
Henley Business School
Winner: Dr Ioannis Oikonomou (ICMA Centre)
Runners up: Dr Chul Chung (International Business and Strategy), Emma Street (Real Estate and Planning)
Life Sciences
Winner: Dr Sakthivel Vaiyapuri (School of Biological Sciences)
Runner up: Tom Breeze (School of Agriculture, Policy and Development)
Science
Winner: Dr Jonny Day (Meteorology)
Runner up: Dr Paul Morris (School of Human and Environmental Sciences)
