Dressing for success
Tuesday, 18 June 2013
Work has begun on preparing the University's campuses for the Open Days this Friday and Saturday.
The campuses will be ‘dressed' to create a sense of occasion for our visitors this week as well as showcasing the vibrancy of our University and making it as easy as possible for visitors to find information and get around.
The lead display theme of 'Asking Big Questions', featuring members of University staff, students and alumni on large hoardings will highlight the breadth of expertise and talent at the University. Predominantly these hoardings will cover up the essential maintenance work that is taking place around the HumSS building, drawing our visitors onto campus.
Open Days should be a representation of our pride in our University. As ever, the days will be supported by a large team of student ambassadors. Current students, who know first-hand what it is like to study here who are the best advocates for the quality of the experience we offer.
Every member of staff involved in the Open Days will also act as ambassadors over the two days, engaging with potential students to ensure that they have the most fulfilling experience during their visit. Many thanks indeed to all staff that are giving up their time to make these very important days in the University calendar a success.
If you're active on Twitter and involved in the Open Days it would be great if you could use the hashtag #UoROpenDay in any related tweets!
