A Farewell from the RUSU Student Officers

As July fast approaches so does another Student Officer year. I wanted to send a message to all University of Reading staff to say a very big ‘thank you', on behalf of the Student Officer team, for all of your help and support over the past year.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with you all and are grateful for allowing us to have frank, open and honest discussions over the decisions that we all make that have an impact on students' experiences at Reading. It has been a pleasure to attend events with other Students' Union Officers and be able to shout about the excellent working relationship that exists between the Students' Union and University at Reading.

On a personal note, I have made some fantastic friends this year and learnt a lot that I will certainly take with me when I leave. The University has given me a tremendous amount and it has been an honour to give back to this fantastic and welcoming community.

The new Student Officer team will start on 2 July and the outgoing team will leave on 12 July. The new team will be very keen to meet with you all so please do make contact.

Once again, thank you very much for your support this year and I wish you all well for the future.
