Undergraduate Confirmation, Clearing and Adjustment 2013 begins!
Friday, 09 August 2013
Following record applications this year, we are recruiting strongly to our programmes but we still have a limited number of places available to home, EU and international candidates through Clearing and Adjustment.
Admissions colleagues both centrally and around the University will be working extra hard this weekend and next week to make sure we secure our next cohort of talented students.
Thursday 15 August is results day for many of the students that we hope will join us. To ensure we are able to respond quickly to all enquiries from prospective students a Clearing and Adjustment hotline will be open from 8am on Thursday.
Clearing and Adjustment hotline 0118 378 7878
(open from 8am on Thursday 15 August)
As you will appreciate this can be an anxious time for some prospective students so any calls or enquiries received should be redirected to the hotline, where the University Admissions Team will be able to help them. For further information please see the Adjustment and Clearing website that has been created for prospective students interested in joining Reading: www.reading.ac.uk/places
All potential students offered a place at Reading through the clearing or adjustment process will be invited to visit the University. The Palmer Building will be the central hub for visit activity associated with Clearing and Adjustment. All visitors will be invited, upon arrival, to register in Palmer, before having a chance to speak with academic colleagues and see our wonderful campuses and facilities. The Palmer Building welcome area will be open from 9am each day from Thursday 15 to Tuesday 20 August (including Saturday 17).
As ever, colleagues are asked to support this crucial recruitment and conversion activity. Please make our guests feel as welcome as possible and point them in the right direction.
Thank you in advance to everyone involved in this very busy and critical time for the University and good luck to all our potential students, we look forward to meeting you.
