Please vote for the Whiteknights campus!
Tuesday, 10 September 2013
In July the University received news that for the third year running it had received a prestigious Green Flag Award for Whiteknights campus.
The Green Flag Award is a sign to visitors that the Whiteknights campus is well-maintained and well-managed, with excellent facilities. It is the benchmark national standard for parks and green spaces in the UK. Grounds management, innovation and the way facilities are tailored to the needs of the community are taken into account.
Communities are now being urged to vote for their favourite park or green space in the People's Choice Award. This national award gives the public the power to decide which one of the parks or green spaces flying the Green Flag should be named the site of the year.
Last year, thanks to all of our voters we came third in the country and were ahead of the other university campuses which received Green Flags. Please vote for us again so we can do even better.
Voting for the People's Choice Award closes at midnight on 1 of October.
