Introducing the Performance and Development Review

Wednesday, 29 January 2014

University crest

The Human Resources team is delighted to announce the introduction of the Performance and Development Review (PDR) - replacing the old Staff Development Review (SDR) process with immediate effect.

The Performance and Development Review (PDR) aims to support colleagues by:

  • clarifying expectations;
  • enabling regular review and evaluation of your contribution;
  • developing your personal and professional skills;
  • assisting with career development plans; all of which will be underpinned by an on-going dialogue with your manager.

HR Partners are currently working with School Administrators and PAs to arrange training sessions for all managers and reviewers.

The CQSD Training Programme will also include sessions for all staff to explore how to make best use of your PDR discussion.
