The University of Reading is one of just six UK universities to share the top spots in the national tables of subject areas
The University's agriculture course has, for the second year running, been rated as the best in the UK and 11th in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2014.
The University of Reading is one of just six UK universities to share the top spots in the national tables of subject areas, alongside Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Edinburgh and the Institute of Education.
Three other Reading courses have also been ranked in the world's top 100: English, geography and environmental science.
Law, politics, finance, languages, linguistics and philosophy are all in the top 150 in the world.
The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject is a comprehensive guide to the world's top universities in a range of popular subject areas. Using data on reputation and research citations, the rankings highlight the 200 top universities in the world for 30 individual subjects.
