Car parking on Whiteknights campus

With construction work around the Whiteknights campus leading to a reduction in the number of available car parking spaces for staff, the University has temporarily made extra spaces available.

From 10 March, the half of the Contractors Car Park on Queen's Drive nearest to the Sportspark will be available for University permit holders. This will provide approximately 100 additional spaces.

Janis Pich, deputy director of Estates and Facilities, said: "This is a temporary measure for which we have had to gain special permission from the Local Authority, but we hope will alleviate some of the problems that have been caused by the suspension of parking bays in other areas due to construction work."
