University Teaching Fellowship Scheme (UTFS)

National Teaching Fellowship (NTF) Expression of Interest Scheme
The purpose of the HEA's National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) is to: raise the profile of learning and teaching, recognise and celebrate individuals who make an outstanding impact on the student learning experience, have a strong external teaching and learning profile and provide a national focus for institutional teaching and learning schemes.
Up to 55 awards of £10,000 are made by the HEA each year. The award is intended for Fellows' professional development in teaching and learning or aspects of pedagogy.
The University has been very successful in the NTFS, with eight Fellowships awarded to Reading staff since 2002. To hear more about the experiences of some of our Fellows or to find out more about the NTFS see What it means to be a National Teaching Fellow.
CQSD are seeking up to three nominees to take forward to the 2014 HEA National Teaching Fellowship Scheme. NTFS nominees will usually be University Teaching Fellows or have equivalent recognition or a lead role in teaching and learning and/or teaching and learning support.
