LGBT Plus: a new network for University staff

Building on the University's commitment to equality and diversity and its membership as a Stonewall Diversity Champion, we are proud to announce the launch of LGBT Plus, a new network for University of Reading Staff who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.

Dr Andrew Mangham, who is leading the establishment of the group with colleagues, has said: "LGBT Plus aims to have a social and representative function.

"The network will take the shape of bi-termly, social meetings for staff who identify as LGBT+. The first of these meetings will take place in Blandford's Restaurant, Park House, Whiteknights campus on Wednesday 25 June, 7-9pm. It is an informal event and wine and nibbles will be provided. We look forward to meeting you!"
