Travel roadshow

Cycling to work

Come along to the Travel Roadshow on Wednesday 12th November, between 1 and 5pm, in the Palmer building, on Whiteknights Campus, to find out how the University could save you money on your daily commute, whilst helping the environment at the same time.

The Travel Roadshow will showcase the range of benefits available to staff and promote sustainable travel options. Whether you travel to work by car, bus or bike, the University offers a number of schemes through a salary sacrifice arrangement to help cut your travel costs by taking advantage of tax and National Insurance savings:

  • Cycle2work
  • Bus+ - commuting card
  • Parking+
  • Mycar - car leasing

  Also on the day:

  • Get your bike labelled by Security to help protect your bike and deter theft. They will also be selling locks and lights.
  • Discover Readybikes
  • Reward Your World, an app that lets you collect points for sustainable travel and get rewards!
  • Find out about the University's Car Sharing scheme www.rucarsharing.com

This is an ideal opportunity to come along and talk to the University's partners and pick up some goodies!
