Tasked with organising an event or conference but don't have time to spare? The Venue Reading team are here to help!
'Keep it on campus' is an initiative to encourage staff and students to hold their events at the University of Reading. We also want to raise awareness about the fantastic facilities, services and venues that are available to help support you.
Venue Reading is a professional events department at the University here to help plan and organise your events; saving you time, delivering value for money, and providing our campus expertise.
Since 2013, we've held over 400 events for departments and Schools, ranging from academic conferences, celebration events, functions, accommodation, workshops, concerts, and exhibitions.
Including a highly successful academic conference for the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences:
"The conference facilities, the entertainment and the food have been first rate, and the feedback I have received from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive.
This has been a hugely important ‘impact' event for our School and the University of Reading in general"..... Professor Laurie Butler, Head of School, School of Pyschology and Clinical Language Science.
