  • The positive 2014 admission figures: home/EU undergraduate numbers are up 11% from 2013 and overseas undergraduate numbers up 28%;
  • The encouraging rise in undergraduate applications for 2015 entry - a 23% increase compared to this time last year;
  • News of research grant successes from the Leverhulme Trust;
  • An update on our work in South Africa and Malaysia; and
  • National policy developments from the Chancellor's autumn statement including the state-backed loans of up to £10,000 postgraduate study and the warning of "very substantial" cuts to public spending in the period ahead.
