Take part in Reading Science Slam 2015

We are looking for eight participants undergrad, post-grad or post-doc researchers to perform at the Reading Science Slam, Saturday 21 March 2015.
Reading Science Slam is a thrilling competition in which scientists present their mind-boggling work in a comprehensible and accessible way in just eight minutes. At the end of the evening the audience votes on the best performance. There are prizes for the winners.
The Rules:
- MUST be fun
- MUST be theatrical AND creative AND scientific
- MUST NOT use PowerPoint (it's not a lecture!)
- MUST NOT be dull Props, costumes, music, audience participation are in
We are working with local theatre company Reading Rep to help you develop your performance and provide you with rehearsal time and support.
It's great for your CV and future career. Last year's event was a huge success and the participants found the experience to be excellent.

The Science Slam will take place on stage at South Street Arts Centre at 7.00pm on Sat 21 March 2015 as part of Reading Science Week.
