TAEDS students dig into trench warfare
Monday, 09 February 2015
BA TAEDS (Theatre Arts, Education and Deaf Studies) took its students on a journey back about a hundred years, to the horrors of the Trenches.
Successful and highly regarded Handprint Theatre, itself composed of many TAEDS alumni, led an interactive drama workshop with TAEDS "army recruits" experiencing life behind the front line and at a first aid station.
‘We always love to return home to TAEDS, where we first learnt our skills, and I'm looking forward to being a mentor,' says Laura Goulden of Handprint.
TAEDS are closely involved with Handprint in the new Alumni Mentoring scheme, which supports TAEDS' 95% employability by engaging students in productive professional connections.
