Marshals required: Reading Half Marathon ÔÇô 22 March 2015

Macmillan Cancer Support are looking for volunteers to join their enthusiastic team at this year's Reading Half Marathon and be part of this fantastic event as a support marshal. The marathon passes through our own Whiteknight Campus and many staff and students come to cheer on the runners.

Duties will include directing and shepherding runners and supporters along the Tilehurst Road in Reading, ensuring the safety of both and the smooth running of the event or even staffing one of the water stations. 

You will be needed from 08.30 to 13.30 on the day, and in return as one of Macmillan's fantastic volunteers you'll not only be helping people affected by cancer, but you'll also have your expenses paid for the day within agreed guidelines, receive a full briefing and support, as well as a Macmillan t-shirt.
