International pensions conference

Pensions conference

The University recently hosted a highly topical international conference on Pension Policy organised by Drs. Fang Xu and Alexander Mihailov and Professor Kerry Patterson of SPEIR (Department of Economics) as part of the research theme of ‘Prosperity and Resilience’, led by the Research Dean designate, Professor Dominik Zaum.

The conference reflects our commitment to research that reaches out to the concerns of the public and private sectors in key policy areas.

With more than 30 UK and international participants from economics, econometrics, finance, gerontology, history, labour studies and social policy, we hope that the conference will lead to further collaborative research in this important area.
