In Brief survey results
Wednesday, 29 July 2015
Congratulations to Gerri Aherne in the Henley Business School (Greenlands) who won a £50 Blackwells gift voucher as the winner of the In Brief survey prize draw.
263 members of staff responded to the survey, which gave us feedback on the usefulness and informative value of In Brief and suggestions for how In Brief could be improved.
The survey found that
- 94% of respondents found In Brief to be very or quite useful
- 83% felt better informed about what’s happening at the University
- 83% like the fact that articles are brief (110 words or fewer)
We sought ways to improve In Brief and the top three suggestions are to
- Increase the frequency to fortnightly
- Produce a contents list linking to the articles
- Have more contributions from Schools, Departments, RUSU, etc.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the survey and for your suggestions. Look out for the next issue of In Brief which will hit your inbox Friday 4 September.
Our winner Gerri Aherne said: “I like In Brief because it does what is says on the tin! It’s a great way to receive information about what is going on but without information overload.
"It was a fabulous prize to win. Good luck with In Brief and I look forward to receiving more.”
