Stonewall Workplace Equality Index - have your say
Wednesday, 02 September 2015
This year the University will once again be taking part in the Workplace Equality Index Survey run by Stonewall.
Stonewall’s Diversity Champions programme is Britain's good practice employers' forum on sexual orientation and gender identity. The results from last year’s survey provided feedback and information about how we can improve and embed practices that make the University a great and inclusive place to work. We believe that taking part again will give us further useful insights.
All organisations participating in the Index are asked to invite all of their employees, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual, to fill in a questionnaire giving feedback directly to Stonewall on their experiences of working at the University.
We encourage you to participate in order that we can receive feedback to help inform and assist our ongoing efforts to make this an inclusive place to work. The survey is confidential and anonymous.
It should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and the closing date is 6 November 2015.
To complete the survey you will need our organisation name and access code – without this information your results will be lost:
- Organisation: University of Reading
- Access code: 1697

Professor Ellie Highwood, Dean of Diversity and Inclusion said, 'The University has taken big steps in becoming a Stonewall Diversity Champion in 2014, and being placed 179 out of 397 in the 2015 Workplace Equality Index, one of only a few universities to be listed. We want to build on this by bringing in new support for diversity and inclusion initiatives across our University - to do this we really need the information you can provide in the survey. Please complete it to help us to help you to be yourself!'
