Date – Wednesday 21 October
Time - 1:10pm to 1:50pm
The new sustainable planning system has been developed to support our University strategy 2026. Many UK Universities have transformed their planning systems in the last two decades, driven by the marketisation of the UK HE sector, in which student quotas no longer exist.
During the last year, Professor Van de Noort has worked with the Planning and Strategy Office and other key members of the University to develop the new process. The aim is to have a system that is strategic, holistic and transparent, enabling leaders and removing unnecessary structures and steps.
This new process will require new ways of working for Schools and Services. The open session is intended to provide an opportunity to learn more about the new system and how it affects you and your School or Service.
