Reminder: invitation to public exhibition on the redevelopment of St Patrick's Halls

Wednesday, 21 October 2015

redevelopment of St PatrickÔÇÖs Halls

A public exhibition on the redevelopment of St Patrick’s Halls is taking place on Thursday 22 October at the Old Senior Common Room in the Shamrock Café, University of Reading. Staff and students are welcome to attend the exhibition between 12:00 and 14:00.

Proposals are being discussed for the site to be redeveloped between autumn 2016 and the start of the 2019/20 academic year. The plans are being supported by the University Partnerships Programme (UPP), which operates and provides services to the whole of the University’s student accommodation.

The proposals aim to:

  • Increase capacity by better utilising the existing grounds
  • Transform the facilities for students
  • Enhance the architectural quality
  • Improve the environmental performance
The exhibition will be available online for those who can’t attend the event. Staff and students are encouraged to provide feedback on the proposals, with comments submitted by 29 October. For further details, please contact stpatsproject@reading.ac.uk.
