Pay Award 2015/16

The University is pleased to inform staff that the national negotiations for the 2015/16 pay award have now been concluded.
The pay award is an uplift of 1% on all pay points, with an extra adjustment on the first eight points of the pay scale, where larger increases apply of between 2.65% and 1.2%. This represents an above inflation increase to all staff and addresses concerns about pay for staff at the bottom of the pay scale.
This is effective from 1 August 2015 and all staff for whom the national pay award applies will see the uplift reflected in their November salaries, along with any back pay.
