Vince Cable speaking at Henley Business School today

Wednesday, 28 October 2015

Vince Cable

Sir Vince Cable, the former deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats, will be speaking at the University today.

'Cable Unplugged' is the second in our series of 'Political Voice' events, organised by the Politics and International Relations department. 'Political Voice' was launched in spring with Stella Creasy MP.

Sir Vince was the Secretary of Business, Innovation and Skills in the last coalition government. At the event, he will be talking about his time in the government and his view of both the political and economic future of the UK, as outlined in his new book, After the Storm.

The event will take place in Henley Business School G11 at 4 pm. It is open to all students and staff.

If you would like to attend the event, please email a.r.b.potter@reading.ac.uk. Note that guests will booked in on a first come, first served basis.
