Fireworks display at Whiteknights on 6 November

The University is organising a fireworks event at its Whiteknights campus on Friday 6 November.

Free for staff, students and our closest neighbours to attend, the event will take place on the meadow in the centre of the campus.

Festivities will begin at 6.30pm with food, music and entertainment, and continue until 8.30pm.

The fireworks display itself will begin at 7pm and last approximately 15 minutes.

To ensure the safety of everyone, some of the paths running across the meadow will be closed from 6.40pm to 7.40pm.

Attendees are asked not to bring sparklers or Chinese lanterns to the campus.
