Promoting Food Research at Reading

The University’s Food Research theme will be represented at a national food industry event at the Excel Centre, London, from 17-19 November.

Food Matters Live will bring together professionals from across the food and drink industry, nutrition and health to talk about issues like the relationship between food and environment.

A stand depicting ‘Farm, Fork and Futures’ will be our base for discussions with potential users of our research and services.

Our  Seminar and Conference speakers will also address topics along the food chain including:  improving nutrition in the community; supply chain management and sustainability; healthy heart and nutrition; flavonoids & cognition across the lifespan and regulatory framework for labelling across the EU.

Richard Bennett, Research Dean for Food says “Food Matters Live is a great opportunity to inform industry and other stakeholders about our world-leading research in food and our expertise and capability for undertaking food research.

Registration for the event is free. For more details, click here.
