A minute to reflect on Paris victims at 11 am

A minute’s silence is to be held across Europe today at 11 am, in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the series of terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night.

The University has not organised a formal event but invites staff and students to mark 11 am with respect, reflection and an expression of solidarity, however they see fit.

The attacks on Friday 13 November claimed at least 129 lives and resulted in widespread casualties.
