Public Lecture: 100 years of Reading's weather

Did you know that the University has made daily weather observations for the past century?
Join Stephen Burt and Roger Brugge of the Department of Meteorology on Wednesday 10 February for an illustrated lecture telling the story of Reading’s weather over the past hundred years. The lecture will use a combination of archived logbooks, contemporary photographs and sophisticated automatic weather measuring equipment to bring Reading’s meteorological past to life.
The lecture is part of our popular Public Lecture series, and forms part of our 90th Anniversary celebrations. Full details are as follows:
